U-18 Boys
Coaching Experiences and Licenses:
Dennis Gomes is currently the Boys' Varsity Soccer coaching staff at Wilbraham Monson Academy in Wilbraham, MA and is the U18 Boys Junior Pioneer coach. Dennis came to the Academy for a postgraduate year after graduating from Ludlow High School in 1994. He was the Most Valuable Player on the 1994 WMA team.
At the collegiate level, he played Varsity Soccer at the University of Vermont, a member of the America East Conference in NCAA Division 1, for four years while earning a B.S. in education with a concentration in sports medicine and a minor in exercise physiology in 1999.
Dennis began his professional career playing the 2000-2001 season with the Vermont Voltage of the United Soccer League in Burlington. Returning to western Massachusetts in 2001, he played for both the Professional Arena Soccer League Springfield Legend (2001-2002) and the United Soccer League Western Mass Pioneers in Ludlow (2001-2004).
Dennis' coaching credentials include positions as Freshman Boys assistant coach at Ludlow High School in 2000-2001, Varsity Boys assistant coach at East Longmeadow High School from 2002 to 2005 and U10-U14 Boys head coach for the Western Mass Jr. Pioneers since 2001.
